The European Commission finds that overall, the transposition of the Directive on works councils in Member States legislation has been positive

Brussels, 06/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has adopted the "Report from the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council on the situation regarding the application of the Directive on the establishment of a European Works Council in Community-scale undertakings and Community-scale groups of undertakings for the purposes of informing and consulting employees (Council Directive 94/45/EC of 22 September 1994)".
