The chemical firms BAYER, BASF, DOW CHEMICAL, DUPONT and TICONA/CEKANESE are to set up a business-to-business electronic platform specialised in heat-shapeable plastics. This joint-venture, which should see the light of day on 1 October 2000, will enable clients to buy plastic material as well as machines and equipment.
