Brussels, 06/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The EP member of the Bonino List, Gianfranco Dell'Alba said, in a press release, that he was surprised to learn that Andrew Cahn, Chef de Cabinet for Neil Kinnock, former Commissioner for Transport, was going to work for British Airways. Mr. Cahn, "with absolute nonchalance", now becomes one of the senior officials of a company which, hardly six months ago, he was supposed to control, Mr. Dell'Alba observes, commenting: "one can only suppose that there were contacts even when Cahn was in his previous post". Mr. Dell'Alba has sent an urgent question to the Commission, to question it on what seems to him to be "an incredible disavowal of all measures of transparent professional practices proclaimed by the Kinnock-Prodi duo".
