06/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The President and Members of the Court of Justice of the European Communities announced the death of Lord Mackenzie-Stuart of Dean, former President of the Court of Justice, on 1 April 2000 In Edinburgh. The religious ceremony, attended by some of the current and former Members of the Court, including the President of the court, took place on Thursday in Edinburgh. Alexander John Mackenzie Stuart was born in 1924 and was a Judge at the Court of Justice between 9 January 1973 and 6 October 1988 and President of the Court from 10 April 1984 to 6 October 1988.
