ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) agri-food

The French poultry group LDC has made a friendly bid for DROSED (106 million turnover in 1999), Polish leader in the poultry business. LDC will initially propose securing 75% at 60 zlotys a share, before making a bid for all the shares. The offer values DROSED at 28.3 million euro for 100% of the capital.
