The Informal Ecofin Council will try to make progress, if not a breakthrough, in field of taxation - Presidency puts two essential questions to ministers

Brussels, 06/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - In the second part of their informal meeting in Lisbon on Saturday, finance ministers will try to refine their strategies regarding direct and indirect taxation. The Portuguese Presidency will put two fundamental questions to ministers to secure indicative answers, essential for the rest of the work in these two fields:
