MEPs Désir and Ford take part in world appeal by parliamentarians for Tobin tax

Brussels, 06/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - Two MEPs, French Socialist Harlem Désir, Chair of the Intergroup on "Capital taxation, taxation, globalisation", and British Labour member Glyn Ford will be taking part, on 11 April in Washington, with the Democrat representative in Congress for Oregon, Peter De Fazio, and French deputy Yann Galut, coordinator for this action at the French National Assembly, in making an appeal by parliamentarians worldwide in favour of establishment of the Tobin tax....
