Commission takes first decisions on annual allowances of former Commissioners and invites others to give information on 1999 income

Brussels, 14/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has pointed out that it had taken three decisions on decreasing or doing away with allowances for former Commissioners and that it had decided to keep these allowances for others - but without stating which former Commissioners were concerned. It also gave a reminder to several of the former Commissioners that they had not yet completed the annual questionnaire on 1999 income (it extended the deadline to 15 April for doing...
