In France, PPR - PINAULT PRINTEMPS REDOUTE intends to acquire the micro-computer products retailer SURCOUF (turnover EUR 132.2 million in 1999) at the price of FF 160 per share. The bid gives SURCOUF a value of FF 320 million.
