ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

The American insurance group AETNA has rejected the uncalled-for $10.4 bn bid from the Dutch giant ING in partnership with the American WELLPOINT, and announced that the group was splitting into two entities. One will be specialised in sickness insurance, the other in financial services.
