"Baia Mare" task FORCE SETS up programme

Brussels, 14/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The International "Baia Mare" task force, responsible for evaluating the damage from the accidental cyanide pollution in the Danube region, held its first meeting on Monday in Brussels, in European Commission buildings, while awaiting the finishing of its Secretariat in Vienna. The experts that it gathers under the Presidency of Tom Garvey agreed on the work programme and the following timetable:
