ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) machine-tools

ICBT, France's foremost manufacturer of textile machinery, is in negotiations with the Swiss group RIETER in view of possibly selling its design activities in the processing yarn machinery sector for the textile industry. This division represents a total turnover of some FF 900 million with almost 400 employees. ICBT had a total 1999 turnover of FF 1.3 bn.
