ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) automobile

The Japanese manufacturer TMC - TOYOTA MOTOR is to take effective control of the manufacturer of heavy-goods vehicles, in difficulty, HINO MOTORS upping its stake from 20.1% to 33.8% for 25 bn yen. HINO forecasts a net loss of 15.2 bn yen for a turnover of 476.6 bn in 1999.
