ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) packaging

The French corrugated cardboard group ROSSMANN and Austrian group BAUERNFEIND are preparing to form an equally held joint venture. Called ROBA, it will aim at carrying out studies and investment in Europe, Africa and Asia. From this year on, 1 million tonnes of paper and 850,000 tonnes of corrugated cardboard will be produced by the 43 industrial sites of the new entity that will make EUR 850 million in sales.
