ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) electricity

The British firm LONDON ELECTRICITY (French group EDF - ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE) has taken over the gas power plant of Sutton Bridge from the American group ENRON for £442 million. The plant has a production capacity of 790 MW and employs 35 people.
