Oslo, 18/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - A majority of Norwegians now favours their country's membership of the European Union, for the first time since the creation of a monthly barometer published by the daily Nationen. This poll reveals that 46.5% of those surveyed would vote "yes" in a referendum on EU accession today, as against 43.3% who would vote "no".
