Steelworkers unions (EMF) will put pressure on European Commission and on Member States to protect European steel industry

Brussels, 18/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Metalworkers Federation (EMF) is organising, next Thursday 25 May, a European action day aimed a putting pressure on the Member States, the European Commission and the European Parliament so that they may do the necessary so that the European steel industry survives after the expiry of the ECSC Treaty in 2002. A EMF delegation lead by its Secretary General Reinhard Kuhlmann will meet the deputy Secretary General of the European Commission...
