(EU) EU/AUSTRIA: The governors of the nine Laender call for lifting of sanctions

Vienna, 18/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The governors of the nine Austrian Laender unanimously adopted a resolution in Vienna on Wednesday demanding the lifting of bilateral sanctions against Austria decided on 31 January by the other fourteen members of the European Union. The resolution is to be handed in to the Austrian Government, the President of the EU Council and the President of the Commission.
