European Parliament wants to help European Commission combat GPS jamming and spoofing in aviation and maritime sectors

On Wednesday 10 September, the European Parliament gave its support to the European Commission in the fight against GPS jamming and spoofing in air and maritime transport. The speeches focused on the incursion of Russian drones on the Polish border the previous day (see EUROPE B13706A3) and the recent incident involving the plane of Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, in Bulgaria (see EUROPE B13699A11).
