Irishman Tony Murphy re-elected President of European Court of Auditors

11/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 11 September, members of the European Court of Auditors re-elected Irishman Tony Murphy as President for the next three years. Mr Murphy has held this position since 2022 and has been a member of the Court of Auditors since 2018. He previously worked as an auditor at the Council of Europe and the Office of the Irish Comptroller and Auditor General. Tony Murphy said he was honoured to be re-elected. (LM)
