European Parliament political groups reveal their candidates for 2025 Sakharov Prize

Over the last few days, several political groups in the European Parliament have announced their candidates for the 2025 Sakharov Prize. The prize will be awarded in December.

The EPP and ECR groups have nominated Andrzej Poczobut, a Polish-Belarusian journalist, human rights activist and political prisoner in Belarus.

Renew Europe highlights Serbian students who are “leading peaceful demonstrations for a free and democratic Serbia”.
