European Parliament advocates inclusion of Colombian criminal groups on EU list of terrorist organisations

On Thursday 11 September, the European Parliament approved (355 votes in favour, 173 against, 15 abstentions) a draft resolution put forward by the EPP, ECR and Renew Europe Groups condemning “the recent wave of terrorist attacks” in Colombia, as well as “the murders of political figures” such as presidential candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay.
