11/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – During the 15th meeting of the EU-India Joint Working Group on Counter Terrorism in Brussels on Tuesday, 9 September, both sides condemned the attack perpetrated in Pahalgam, in Indian Kashmir, on 22 April. More broadly, India and the EU reaffirmed “their strong condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations”, including cross-border terrorism, and reiterated the importance of cooperation in multilateral forums. Discussions focused on threat assessments at the regional, national, and global levels. The EU and India also took stock of the most important developments in their respective counter-terrorism policies and explored ways to strengthen their collaboration in the future. The joint working group’s next meeting will be held in New Delhi. (PLD)
