Strasbourg, 15/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - During the opening of the plenary session of the EP, Mrs. Fontaine condemned the assassination of Jesus Maria Pedrosa, municipal councillor in the Basque country. So as to more concretely show our solidarity after this third act of terrorism in the last three months, announced the Parliament President, I am ready, if my Spanish colleague deem it useful, to go to the Basque country to bring our Parliament's "constant message."
