EUR 54 million to the "Statens Serum Institut" in Copenhagen

Luxembourg, 15/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank is granting a loan of EUR 54 million to the "Statens Serum Institut" in Copenhagen, Denmark's health services central laboratory and a national centre for the prevention and control of infectious diseases. The investment is expected to focus on the fitting out of a new research and development laboratory and the production of vaccines, as well as the modernisation and extension of existing installations.
