Failing Parliament opinion on reform of hemp and flax sector, Council will give opinion on Monday on new common prices only

Brussels, 15/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Agriculture Council, meeting on 19 and 20 June in Luxembourg, will be able to proceed to approval of farm prices for the 2000: 2001 marketing year. On the other hand, it will not be able to give its views on the tricky issue of reform in the hemp and flax sector, as Parliament has not given its opinion.
