Commission appoints a new expert who will report on 15 July on the operation of Malpensa Airport

Brussels, 15/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission announced on Thursday that it has appointed an expert from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom (Bedfordshire) to examine the practical arrangements for the transfer of flights from Linate Airport in Milan to Malpensa Airport. The British expert will have to say whether classification of the Milan system as "coordinated airports" is justified and give his opinion on the impact of the environmental measures for Malpensa...
