In France, ALCATEL and TMM-THOMSON MULTIMEDIA are to group, within a joint 50-50 subsidiary (whose name has not yet been chosen), their activities in equipment for interactive multimedia networks. This subsidiary is expected to make a turnover of EUR 150 million in 2000 with about 500 employed.
