Brussels, 25/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - Following the favourable opinion issued by the European Parliament (see page 13 of this issue), the Council adopted the decision relating to the Communities contribution to the International fund for the clearing of the Danube.
This decision foresees that the European Union contributes to the International fund cited above (created by the Danube Committee) for a maximum amount of EUR 22 million, thus covering up to 85% of the projects estimated cost....
