Commission decides to establish a European register in 2003 on emissions of industrial pollutants, accessible to the public

Brussels, 25/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to establish a European Pollutant Emission Register (EPER) in 2003 which will cover data relating to 50 pollutants from about 20,000 individual industrial facilities across the European Union.
