ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) cement

The German group HEIDELBERG ZEMENT signed a contract with the Bosnian privatisation agency for the acquisition of a 51% stake in the KAKANJ cement producers. The total of the operation has not been disclosed. With a capacity of 550,000 tonnes per year, the cement plant covers 35% of the consumption and employs 350 people.
