European Commission presents project for ‘commercial digital wallets’ to cut red tape for businesses

On Wednesday 19 November, the European Commission presented the ‘European Business Wallet’ (EBW), a “digital wallet” designed to help European businesses operate more simply throughout the EU.

This proposal should provide European businesses and public sector bodies with a single digital tool for digitalising data, operations and transactions.
