19/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – Until 15 December, the European Commission has issued a call for evidence on the provision of services in the construction sector. Numerous obstacles persist in the single market and are holding back the EU’s objectives of affordable and energy-efficient housing, it complains. Following this call for evidence, it hopes to identify trends for action in this area, for example by strengthening the implementation of the Services Directive, or by working on the mutual recognition of cards for construction sites. The aim is to maximise the potential of the single market for construction and installation services and to help increase productivity in the sector. See the consultation: https://aeur.eu/f/jj4 (LM)
