“EU must cut ties with Israel”, in accordance with international law, says Francesca Albanese

On Wednesday 19 November, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, said that the European Union, as a political organisation based on international law, had “failed” to prevent Israel from perpetrating “genocide” against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, in total contradiction with the case law of the International Court of Justice.
