European Commission wants to unleash potential of disruptive innovation

On Wednesday 19 November, the European Commission presented a ‘roadmap’ for transforming the defence industry and unlocking the potential of disruptive innovation for defence readiness.

Believing that innovation is a critical component of readiness, it intends to accelerate defence industry modernisation and support new players in the sector.
