Member States give tentative green light to revision of European Globalisation Adjustment Fund arrangements

On Wednesday 19 November, the Member States gave their support to the European Commission’s proposal to broaden the scope of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) so that it supports not only displaced workers, but also those threatened with imminent job loss (see EUROPE B13612A23).
