European Commission opens registrations for new raw materials mechanism

On Tuesday 18 November, the European Commission opened registrations for the new commodities mechanism under the European ‘Energy and Raw Materials’ platform (see EUROPE B13673A33).

The aim of this mechanism is to bring together supply and demand for strategic raw materials - both current and future - and to encourage cooperation between companies, particularly through the pooling of demand, joint purchasing and investment consortia.
