Commission refers Italy to Court of Justice of European Union for failing to transpose rules on road tolls and charges

08/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 8 October, the European Commission decided to refer Italy to the Court of Justice of the European Union for failing to transpose EU rules on charging vehicles for using certain infrastructures, as laid down in Directive 2022/362(see EUROPE B12893A15).
