08/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 8 October, MEPs approved EU aid worth more than €3 million for 915 former Goodyear employees in Hanau and Fulda, Germany. With 577 votes in favour, 47 against and 15 abstentions, the European Parliament approved the German application for aid under the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) for workers made redundant following the closure of the Goodyear tyre production site in Fulda and the partial closure of its plant in Hanau,...
