French MP urges EU to end cages for laying hens

08/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On 3 October, LR MP Josiane Corneloup tabled a motion for a resolution at the National Assembly (https://aeur.eu/f/iu6) calling on the French government to put pressure on the European Union to ban the keeping of laying hens in cages. The strictly national text has 32 co-signatories from eight parties (LR, RN, Renaissance, MoDem, Horizons, PS, Les Écologistes, LIOT).
