New European Network of Young Women launches manifesto for gender equality in 21st century

Brussels, 11/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The new European network of young women to promote gender equality was officially launched during a seminar held from 29 June to 1 July in Lisbon, in the context of the Portuguese EU Presidency, at the initiative of the European Women's Lobby (EWL) on the theme "Young People for Equality between Women and Men". The new network then adopted its "Young Women's Manifesto" which states: "We, young European women from all backgrounds and all our diversity...
