Brussels, 11/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the EU reiterated its willingness to cooperate closely with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, notably in the framework of the Partnership and Cooperation Agreements (PCA) that it has concluded with these two republics of the former USSR. But the Fifteen also reminded the two countries that it expected more progress in the fields of democratic reforms, the protection of human rights and economic harmonization.
