ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

The Italian insurer FONDIARIA ASSICURAZIONI acquired a stake slight higher than 10% in the Swiss RENTENANSTALT/SWISS LIFE for a total of around CHF 1.2 billion. This operation makes the Italian group the largest shareholder in RENTENANSTALT/SWISS LIFE.
