Commission continues infringement proceedings against Portugal, Austria and Greece for continued non-compliance with the Wild Birds Directive

Brussels, 11/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to continue with the infringement proceedings initiated against Austria, Portugal and Greece for failing to fully respect the Community legislation on the protection of wild birds (Directive 79/409/EEC). We give below the infringement committed and the stage of proceedings in course for each country:
