Commission authorises merger of two American laboratories Pfizer and Warner-Lambert, which should market several products on European market

Brussels, 24/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised a new merger between two giants of the pharmaceuticals industry: American companies Pfizer Inc. and Warner-Lambert (WL). The new undertaking will keep the name "Pfizer Inc" and is expected to make a total annual turnover of nearly $28 billion.
