ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

RELIANCE INDUSTRIES (203.01 bn roupies turnover at the close of the financial year ending March 2000), India's largest petrochemicals group, is to increase its stake in the energy distributor BSES (turnover of 23.49 bn roupies for the year ending March 1999) from 14.82 to 35%. This operation represents an investment of 6.5 bn roupies.
