24/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - In parallel with the initiative summarised above, the European Commission has: i) adopted a proposal for encouraging European content and multilingualism on Internet; ii) approved the eLearning initiative designed to adapt educational systems to the knowledge economy and digital culture. EUROPE will report in greater detail in tomorrow's bulletin.
