24/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission completed the texts relating to "block exemptions" in favour of distribution agreements by adopting guidelines whereby it will apply the regulation on this subject, adopted last December, to take effect as of 1 December 2000. The guidelines inform companies of the kinds of agreement that can benefit from exemption, possible withdrawal from the exemption, etc. EUROPE will come back to this tomorrow.
