In Porto, Turkish Defence Minister expresses perplexity over cooperation proposed to non-EU countries

Brussels, 24/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - As we pointed out, French Defence Minister Alain Richard pointed out, during his press conference in Porto at the end of the WEU Council (see EUROPE of 17 May, p.6) that discussions had begun on the subject of consultations on ESDP proposed to countries that are not members of the European Union.
