ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) glass

The Belgian company GLAVERBEL (Japanese group ASAHI GLASS; turnover of FEB 16.4 billion for first quarter 2000) will be building, in partnership with Britain's PILKINGTON, a production line for vacuum-applied (magnetrons) layered glass in the Czech Republic. The investment will total close to FEB 1 billion.
